14 U Portland Jr. Pirates Girls Team

Abby is playing on the Portland Lady Jr. Pirates out of Portland, Maine. It is a 13 and 14 year old team. All but two girls are from the southern part of the state. It is a traveling girls team that had great success so far. They won the Marlboro, MA tournament and the Rhode Island Panthers tournament. The next tournament will be in New Haven, CT December 27-30.

Abby's First Black Hawks Game!

There are six freshman on the varsity hockey team at Houlton High School. None of them will see a lot of ice time this year. Abby is the first and only girl to make the varsity hockey team. Here is a snapshot of the younger varsity players playing against the Bangor JV team. Blackhawks beat Bangor 6 to 4.

Abby Decorates!!

Today Abby helped me out by putting up the lights on the outside of the house. It looks wonderful! She did a great job. Abby also started to decorate the living room, and her new puppy Fenway.
